Let's level up your heel work and add some spicy edge work details to your dance vocabulary. In this workshop, you will dive deeper into the edge work technique. In the edge work style, you will use all the edges of your heels in your dance and be shown different drills to nail your edgy heel-work. Then, to create mesmerising shapes and pathways, you will explore a more comprehensive range of ankle positions and play with sickled, winged and flexed ankle positions. The central part of this workshop will be the techniques, which involve awareness of weight transfers, upper body strength and engagement, and some more specific key elements, which Tati will share with you during the workshop. Finally you will slide, skate, drag and flow weightlessly over the floor, breaking the rules with edgy heel-work.
